“Man Spunk sent me the instrumental. I was in my aunt living room living in the couch. I had just came home. Writing was always my outlet. The beat came on n immediately I was blown away. I knew I was going to write something dope so I started thinking and boom it came to me like a revelation. Me n Gerrod was kool (rip) we had conversations about the Big L incident and I knew ppl from both sides so decided to tell the story how I heard n saw it. 30 minutes later I created “LETTER TO L”
